It’s back-to-school week here and as I contemplated what to write this week, I realized how many unknowns our kids are faced with as they head back to the classroom:

  • Who will my teacher be?
  • What friends will be in my class?
  • Who will I play with at recess?
  • Who will I sit with at lunch?
  • WHAT will I eat for lunch?

Though we may not initially think of these things as we gear our kids up for school, they are certainly worrying thinking about them.  Though we can’t take away all the unknowns, we can guarantee them a consistent lunch routine to give them a little security in an insecure week.

To help get the year started, I’ve listed my kids TOP FIVE PACKABLE LUNCH BOX “ENTREES” below.  Though my kids’ choices are fun, “kid food” meals, we’ve made them all natural and healthier for a better alternative.  For more additional ideas, visit the OUT OF THE BOX FOOD LUNCH BOX LOOP page.  Next week I will share our Top Five Lunch Box “Snack” ideas.  Stay tuned…

Love the homemade Lunchables! Such a great idea, since regular Lunchables barely resemble food!

Such thoughtful, fresh, healthy and loving ‘Back to School’ Lunch Boxes; in particular, the ‘Home Made ‘ lunches are wonderful; which say, ”I am thinking of you, Mom”. Thank you for such loving ideas.

Unfortunately you can’t turn back time; but your lunch choices make me want to go back to third grade!
