Who doesn’t want new tools for the kitchen? Each week at Out of the Box Food we offer new ideas and recipes to feed our families Real Food, but what if we don’t have the tools we need? We want to make Homemade Fruit Roll ups but need baking sheets or want to give the Portabello Sliders recipe a try but need the grill pan?
This week I am combining a way to get what we want with a way to give back. As an Ambassador for Jamie Oliver’s Food Foundation, I am working together with the Real Food Advocates to raise both funds and awareness for the many beneficial programs the Food Foundation provides such as the Big Rig Classroom, hands-on cooking curriculum and Real Food education for families. So how can we get the kitchen tools we need AND support Real Food education?
